| A miniature suit of Japanese Samurai armour which measures approximately 15 inches in height and 14 inches in width. It is made from metal and held together with lace. The helmet is also metal with brass fittings and features what appears to be small spikes covering the crown of the helmet, these appear to be made from clay and some have snapped off, complete with modern wooden stand. Brought back by a British officer who served in Japan where he was stationed in 1946 as part of the British Occupation Force. |
