| Instituted 21st July 1919 initially for award to Belgians who had served with the armed forces in the 1914 - 1918 war. The award criteria were similar to that of the Belgian Victory medal.This medal is complete with the volunteer and wounds emblems as well as the two silver and one gold bar for four years front line service. |
