Rare and hard to find U-Boat Front Clasp in silver. Solid plated zinc second pattern U-boot spange designed by Entwurf Peekhaus and produced by the maker Schwerin & Söhne, Berlin 68, for U-boat personal. The silver plated finish shows some signs of zinc bubbling as is often seen on these clasps to the reverse. The badge has its typical crimped in flat wire catch which rotates slightly and integral hinge system. Very nice condition.
