| Luftwaffe officers silver piped visor cap complete with celluloid diamond of the rare Vienna Master Taylor Josef Andrysek of 29 Wein IV/50. Stitching to front of visor has come away slightly in the middle but still held securely on either side. The cap appears to have been crushed at some point, either by the original owner or the veteran who brought it back but still displays well on a mannequin head or stand. Interestingly the bullion cockade appears to feature two wings rather than the usual four. We are not sure whither the threads seperating the wings have come away or this is the way Josef Andrysek produced his luftwaffe cockades. |
